Meta will move away from human content moderators in favor of more AI

A little more than a year after ditching third-party fact checkers and rolling back much of its proactive content moderation, the company says it will further ”transform” its approach by drastically reducing the number of human moderators in favor of AI-based systems. The company says the change will happen ”over the next few years,” and will allow the company to catch more issues faster than its current approach.

‘Presumed Innocent’ Season 2 Casts Judith Light (EXCLUSIVE)

Judith Light has joined the cast of “Presumed Innocent” Season 2 at Apple TV, Variety has learned exclusively.

Light will appear alongside previously announced season lead Rachel Brosnahan as well as cast members Matthew Rhys, Courtney B. Vance, Fiona Shaw, Jack Reynor, John Magaro, Michael Hsu Rosen Lesley-Ann Brandt and Ji-young Yoo. Exact character details for Light are being kept under wraps.

It looks like Apple is selling MacBook Neo laptops faster than it can make them. Meanwhile, the Mac is breaking records because of it.

All MacBook Neo models from Apple ship in April

As of Friday, March 20, all eight MacBook Neo models are sold out online until next month. Several configurations are sold out in Apple Store locations until the middle of April as well.
MacBook Neo comes in four colors (silver, blush, citrus, and indigo) and two configurations (256GB or 512GB with Touch ID).

Africa pours $2 billion into controversial Chinese surveillance tech

Surveillance technology in Africa is increasingly being shaped by China.

Eleven African countries have collectively spent over $2 billion on artificial intelligence-powered surveillance systems, according to a new study by the U.K.-based Institute of Development Studies and the African Digital Rights Network. Several components of these surveillance tools have been purchased from China, and private Chinese banks have provided the funds needed to build and maintain this infrastructure, the study said.

JK lägger ner förundersökning mot Dumpen

Justitiekanslerns förundersökning om hets mot folkgrupp mot pedofiljägarsajten Dumpen läggs ner, rapporterar samhällsmagasinet Avsnitt.

Ärendet gällde en läsarkommentar som uttryckte nedsättande formuleringar om homosexuella och som hade legat uppe i mer än ett år.

Dumpen informerades om kommentaren av Justitiekanslern och fick två veckor på sig att ta bort den, annars skulle ärendet gå vidare. Beslutet ledde till att Dumpen tog bort hela sitt kommentarsfält från sajten.
