Yesterday in his Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman offered an overview of what to expect from the Mac in the year ahead.

After mentioning new MacBook Pros, MacBook Airs, and more, he ended with a curious hint about the forthcoming M6 chip.

iOS 26.3 is shaping up to be a relatively minor update, with only a couple of notable new features, but iOS 26.4 is expected to be much more significant. Based on reporting from sources including Bloomberg and The Information, Apple has two clear focuses for iOS 27:

1. Integrating new AI features throughout the operating system.
2. Fixing bugs, improving performance, and boosting stability.
