A Russian religious organisation has called for Grand Theft Auto 6 to be banned over the rumoured inclusion of male strippers.
The World Russian People’s Council is led by Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, and features government officials alongside leaders of public associations, clergy members of Russia’s major religions, science and culture figures as well as delegates from “Russian communities” around the world. Since it was founded in 1993, the World Russian People’s Council meets to discuss concerns about the present and future of the country.

Ashton Kutcher has addressed online rumours that he and partner Mila Kunis do not shower, following comments made on a 2021 podcast.
The couple, who starred together on That ‘70s Show before becoming a couple in the 2010s, made comments on a 2021 episode of the Armchair Expert podcast that he will “throw some water on my face” after working out, but doesn’t wash extensively. “I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever,” he said, jokingly. “I got a bar of Lever 2000 that delivers every time. Nothing else.”
Apple will launch a second-generation iPhone Air this year, despite reports that it has been delayed until 2027, according to the Weibo leaker known as Fixed Focus Digital. Doubling down on a similar claim they made late last year, the leaker says feedback coming from the production line still suggests that the iPhone Air 2 will launch in the fall – presumably alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models and a rumored foldable iPhone.
Sony is ceding control of its Bravia TV brand to China’s TCL as part of a new ”strategic partnership,” the companies announced in a joint press release. The Japanese electronics giant plans to sell a majority 51 percent stake in its home entertainment arm to TCL, while retaining a 49 percent share. The joint venture is set to start operations in April 2027, pending regulatory and other approvals.
The new combined business will sell TVs carrying Sony and Bravia branding while using TCL’s display technology. The partnership will also leverage Sony’s picture and audio expertise, supply chain management and other areas of expertise. For its part, TCL will contribute its vertical supply chain strength, global market presence and end-to-end cost efficiency.
Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the new Take That docuseries set to capture the “beginning of the end” of the band in the ’90s.
The three-part series is set to launch on January 27, and will chart the rise of the iconic UK boyband – originally comprised of Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange, and Howard Donald.
