We know that AI chatbot users have been flocking to Claude in recent days — partly due to the stance parent company Anthropic has taken over deals with the US military — and now all Claude users are getting double the usage limits for the next two weeks.
As per the official Claude account on X, the gesture is ”a small thank you” to users. It applies to all types of usage, across all subscription levels and plans (including the free tier), and no action is needed to enable it.

Under den senaste veckan har boende i både centrala Moskva och Sankt Petersburg rapporterat omfattande störningar i mobilt internet. Många har haft svårt att ladda webbplatser och appar, medan andra helt förlorat uppkopplingen – vilket även påverkat möjligheten att ringa samtal.

Regimen i Iran har blockerat invånarna från det globala nätet sedan kriget bröt ut och informationsflödet är strypt. Iranier får sina nyheter från anhöriga i omvärlden, om de lyckas få kontakt.
– I tider av kris är internet en livlina, säger Måns Jonasson på Internetstiftelsen.
En livlina som som alltid varit skör. Regimen i Iran har en vana – de skärmar av sin befolkning från omvärlden i tider av kris. Eller tider där regimens existens riskerar att hotas, som i januari när regimkritiska protester bröt ut.
Sedan dess har uppkopplingen varit knackig men nu är den återigen nästan obefintlig.

Ny forskning visar att fiskar påverkas mycket mer av vattenkraft än man tidigare trott. Samtidigt stiger elpriserna och regeringen vill förändra förutsättningarna för miljöanpassningen – nu vill man ändra själva miljölagen, enligt en proposition som väntas komma i veckan.

The newly verified X account for Iran’s supreme leader could be putting the company on the wrong side of US sanctions, according to a watchdog group. The Tech Transparency Project, which last month published a report on X granting premium perks to sanctioned officials in Iran, now says that the verified account for the country’s new leader raises fresh questions about the issue.
The TTP notes that the X account for Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, appears to be paying for an X premium subscription despite being on the US government’s list of sanctioned individuals since 2019. As the group points out, the Iran-based account was created this month and currently bears a blue checkmark, which typically indicates the account holder is paying for a subscription.
