Will Ferrell’s Netflix Golf Comedy Gets Summer Premiere

The Will Ferrell Sports Comedy Universe will expand in the summer.

Netflix has given a title and a premiere window to Ferrell’s golf comedy. It’s called The Hawk (a change from the all-caps GOLF announced at the time Netflix ordered the series) and will debut sometime during the summer.

As for the plot of The Hawk: If you’ve seen Talladega Nights (or Semi-Pro, or Blades of Glory), you probably have a rough idea of what’s to come. Ferrell plays Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, “2004’s number one golfer” with a personal style (bleached curly hair, a likewise dyed goatee and aggressively colored golf shirt) to match. The show’s logline reads, “Lonnie struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he’s not done yet.

One of the compromises Apple lists for the MacBook Neo is that it doesn’t support fast charging, and the machine is supplied with just a 20W power adapter (except in Europe).

Based on Apple’s statement, there didn’t appear to be any point in using a beefier charger with the new machine, but tests reveal otherwise …

With no support for fast charging capabilities, the supplied 20 watt adapter appeared to be the only thing you will ever need. However, when Macworld plugged it into a more powerful power brick, the site found the machine did indeed charge at a faster rate.

More employees using AI, survey finds

More employees across the public and private sectors are using artificial intelligence, as worries mount about the technology disrupting the job market.

In the fourth quarter of last year, 43% of public-sector employees said they used AI at least a few times annually, according to Gallup polling released Wednesday; that’s a significant increase from the 28% who reported doing so in the second quarter of 2024. And 21% of public-sector workers reported using AI frequently during Q4 of last year.
