Just months after President Trump’s mass pardons for Jan. 6 rioters freed him from prison, a Florida man repeatedly sexually abused two middle-school aged children.
Trump gave pardons to hundreds of violent Jan. 6 rioters. Here’s what they did
On Thursday, the man, Andrew Paul Johnson, was sentenced to life in prison, after a Florida jury found him guilty of five criminal charges, including molestation, lewd and lascivious exhibition and transmission of material harmful to a minor.

If there was one product that cemented the myth of the “Apple tax” – the supposedly excessive price premium paid for the logo – it was the MacBook Air. People would point to Apple’s cheapest laptop costing $1,000 and loudly proclaim that you could buy a Windows machine or Chromebook from around $300.
The comparison was of course spurious. The cheap laptops being used to make the argument were ugly plastic things with exceedingly poor specs compared to the MacBook Air. Still, it was undeniable that a four-figure starting price did prove a barrier to a lot of people – but all that has changed with the MacBook Neo …

We’ve known Apple would follow up its blockbuster film F1: The Movie with live coverage of F1 races in 2026. Now that we’re approaching the first grand prix weekend of the year, the company has provided details on what fans can expect to see inside the Apple TV app and beyond.
There’s already a dedicated F1 channel in the Apple TV app, which is where you’ll stream races live when the time comes. You can also watch practice sessions, sprint races and both pre- and post-race coverage. Apple offers a number of additional F1 videos there (I’d recommend watching the one on the new rules) and you’ll be able to stream the latest season of Drive To Survive on Apple TV as well.

TikTok won’t implement end-to-end encryption within its messaging service due to the limits that E2E would place on criminal investigations, the platform said in a recent security briefing with the BBC in London.
According to the BBC, TikTok said that message encryption prevents police and safety teams from being able to investigate direct messages.
As per BBC: “It confirmed its approach in a briefing to the BBC about security at its London office — saying it wanted to protect users, especially young people, from harm. It described this stance as a deliberate decision to set itself apart from rivals.”

I earlier estimated that Apple would sell gazillions of MacBook Neo machines. TrendForce is now out with a slightly more formal estimate of four to five million units this year.
The market intelligence company also notes that Apple is headed in the opposite direction to most of its competitors …
Dramatically increased RAM prices mean that PC makers are struggling to make lower-cost machines, with many of them prioritizing their limited supply of components to their more expensive models. TrendForce notes that Apple is bucking this trend.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are investing in their sweet escape.
Indeed, the “Ol’ Red” singer revealed that he and the “Hollaback Girl” artist are putting their blood, sweat and tears into revamping a part of their farm in Oklahoma.
“This year, we decided we’re gonna do some actual, real professional gardening—farming-type stuff out here,” Blake said in an Instagram video March 4. “Me and my wife, her name’s Gwen.”
The 49-year-old had fun by featuring a throwback picture of Gwen, 56, in braces, but he also showed off the patch of land that they worked on together.
“We were out here putting this plastic out yesterday, just she and I, nobody else,” he continued. “It sucked. It’s hard work, but we’re going to plant vegetables in here.”
