A federal trade judge on Wednesday cleared the path for refunds on President Donald Trump’s tariffs, applied through the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, after the Supreme Court recently struck them down.
In the ruling, Judge Richard K. Eaton of the US Court of International Trade said that US importers who were subject to those tariffs are ”entitled to the benefit” of the Supreme Court ruling.
Eaton also ordered the US Customs and Border Protection — the agency responsible for collecting import duties — to ”liquidate” import entries without regard to the tariffs Trump imposed through the IEEPA, a national emergency law that gives a president broad authority to regulate economic transactions.

Jail records viewed by The Hollywood Reporter indicate Spears, 44, was arrested on Wednesday night at 9:28 p.m. local time by the California Highway Patrol, and was booked into a local jail at 3:02 a.m.
Spears’ inmate record does not indicate why the pop star was arrested, but TMZ, which was the first to report on her arrest, points to a DUI charge. The pop superstar is due to make a court appearance on May 4 at the Ventura County Superior Court.

You’d expect Windows Central to be pretty adamant in favoring Windows laptops over any MacBook. Yet not only the website itself, but also its readers, see the MacBook Neo as a move that should see Microsoft panicking.
The site says that the timing couldn’t be better for Apple given that more Windows users than ever before are looking to switch platform, and thinks it will hurt sales of machines like the $600 ASUS Vivobook 14 shown above …

The White House has posted a video on its official X account that shows real footage of the US military campaign against Iran. Unusually, the clip begins with a killstreak animation taken straight from 2023’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
The X account included the words ”Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue” in the post. The video starts with a player activating a CoD: MW3 MGB (Mass Guided Bombs) killstreak. It’s basically the game’s secret nuke – which is somewhat concerning given its use here – activated by achieving 30 kills in a single life.
