Nearly three months after the Trump administration allowed Nvidia to sell its H200 accelerator in China, the GPU giant is still waiting for Beijing to allow them in and for any revenue to materialize.
CFO Colette Kress isn’t counting on the situation to improve any time soon either. The company’s Q1 2027 revenue forecast doesn’t account for a single cent of Chinese datacenter revenues.
In early December, the Trump administration reversed an export ban restricting the sale of Nvidia’s H200 accelerators to Chinese customers, in exchange for a 25 percent cut of the revenue from sales. The 2023-vintage chip remains one of the GPU giant’s most potent AI accelerators.

US President Donald Trump has described Robert De Niro’s criticism of him as “criminal”, and implied that he should be deported.
The Oscar winner recently appeared on MSNOW news channel and became emotional as he told people to “resist” the Trump administration’s actions, which he described as “fucked up”.
Trump gave his response on the Truth Social platform, initially posting a tirade against Democrat Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. In the post, he said he believed he should “send them back from where they came”, before adding De Niro to the list.

Google has launched its new image generation model, the Nano Banana 2, which is powered by Gemini 3.1 Flash Image. The company says the new model has the capabilities, world knowledge and reasoning of Nano Banana Pro, but it can accomplish tasks at “lightning-fast speed.” That enables rapid editing and the quick creation of various iterations using a single prompt.
Nano Banana 2 will give more people access to capabilities that were previously exclusive to the Pro model. That includes Pro’s ability to pull real-time information and images from web searches to create, say, infographics and diagrams. It will also be able to generate texts on images for marketing materials and greeting cards.

While the AirPods Pro 3 launched less than six months ago, it has been rumored that Apple plans to unveil new AirPods Pro this year.
Instead of AirPods Pro 4, it has been rumored that the new AirPods Pro will be a higher-end version of the AirPods Pro 3. This would be similar to the regular AirPods 4, which are available in two versions, with and without active noise cancellation.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, and multiple other sources in the Apple rumor scene, the new AirPods Pro will be equipped with tiny infrared cameras that can ”see around you.” Kuo said the cameras will enable in-air gesture controls, and provide an enhanced audio experience between the AirPods Pro and Vision Pro.

Burger King is launching an AI chatbot that will live in the headsets used by employees. The voice-enabled chatbot, called “Patty,” is part of an overarching BK Assistant platform that will not only assist employees with meal preparation but also evaluate their interactions with customers for “friendliness.”
Thibault Roux, Burger King’s chief digital officer, tells The Verge that the company compiled information from franchisees and guests on how to measure friendliness, resulting in the fast food chain training its AI system to recognize certain words and phrases, such as “welcome to Burger King,” “please,” and “thank you.” Managers can then ask the AI assistant how their location is performing on friendliness. “This is all meant to be a coaching tool,” Roux says, adding that the company is “iterating” on capturing the tone of conversations as well.
