Ready your wallets if you’ve been thinking about upgrading your Apple products. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will announce ”at least five products,” starting on Monday, March 2, and extending to its scheduled ”experience” on Wednesday, March 4.
There’s a long list of potential options that Apple could announce next month, but Gurman is confident in a few. According to the report, Apple is ”very likely” to reveal the low-cost MacBook, especially considering the event logo’s choice of colors that could reference the new laptop colors. Gurman also predicted that Apple could announce the iPhone 17e, since its predecessor was launched last spring, and an iPad Air that’s updated with the M4 chip. Previous rumors point to Apple getting ready to drop the upgraded MacBook Pro, which will likely get M5 Pro and Max chips, and the new MacBook Air with the base M5 chip. If that wasn’t enough, Apple could even debut the refreshed Mac Studio and a new Apple Studio Display since the two desktop-oriented options were already expected to be released in the first half of the year.

Homo Mobilis is not just a photography book about cool cars.
The phrase is Latin for ”mobile human.” This project by Dutch photographer Martin Roemers depicts all kinds of vehicles: cars the likes of which you’ve probably never seen before, including one with a garden sprouting from its roof, along with animal-drawn transport and bicycles.
And Roemers is not just looking for visual details. He uses vehicles as a vehicle for philosophical questions: How do our methods of transportation represent our identities, reflect global inequalities and illustrate the changing nature of mobility as we drive forward in the 21st century.
Roemers spent nearly five years on this project, visiting eight countries in four continents and photographing around 200 cars and other vehicles. 160 of these found their way into the book. He identifies the owners by first name only.

Larry Bird should have been excited about attending Indiana University in the late summer of 1974. The man who had recruited him to come there, Dave Bliss, had been chasing him for more than a year, convinced of Bird’s greatness. Bliss, a young assistant coach at Indiana with blond hair and blue eyes, recorded his thoughts about Bird in his journal again and again. “Guy is going to be really good,” Bliss wrote. “Bird’s better… Bird’s better than all.” Bliss didn’t even care who else the Hoosiers signed that year. “As long as Bird is one!” he noted. And most importantly, Bliss had convinced his boss, Hoosier head coach Bobby Knight, to at least consider the possibility of Larry Bird.

Euphoria creator Sam Levison has donated $27,000 (£20,030) to the GoFundMe campaign set up to help support the children of late actor Eric Dane.
On Thursday (February 19), Dane, also known for Grey’s Anatomy, passed away after what his family described as “a courageous battle with ALS”. He had first shared his diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis less than a year ago.
Dane’s friend Mike McGuiness went on to set up a crowdfunding campaign to help raise funds for his daughters, explaining that “Covid and ALS did a number on his work life and he sadly couldn’t leave his family with the resources he had hoped”.
“Even as his own health declined, he remained deeply committed to helping others facing the same devastating disease,” the donation page reads. “As his illness progressed far more quickly than anyone could have imagined, Eric’s friends have come together to create this GoFundMe to support his girls and their future needs.”

American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis has said several actors have turned down the role of murderous banker Patrick Bateman in an upcoming adaptation.
Back in 2024, it was announced that Challengers director Luca Guadagnino was attached to film a new adaptation, which is said to draw more from Ellis’s controversial 1991 satirical novel than the original film directed by Mary Harron.
That version, which turned 25 last year, saw Christian Bale give a career-defining performance as an investment banker in the ‘80s who works to hide his psychopathic behaviour from those around him.
