UK’s Andrew Mountbatten Windsor arrested on suspicion of misconduct

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly the UK’s Prince Andrew, was arrested by British police over his connections with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The ex-royal had already been stripped of his titles over his ties to the disgraced financier, further revealed in emails and images recently released by US law enforcement.

His arrest comes amid widening global fallout from the Epstein controversy: Microsoft cofounder Bill Gates canceled a speech at an Indian AI conference after being named in the files, and French prosecutors announced two separate investigations, into human trafficking and financial offences, after finding evidence of crimes on French soil.

Daniel Radcliffe Says HBO’s New ‘Harry Potter’ Star Will “Be Better Than Me”

Daniel Radcliffe has a prediction: HBO’s new Harry Potter star is going to upstage him.

In a YouTube segment, the actor was asked by ScreenRant about HBO’s new series which will adapt J.K. Rowling’s novels across eight seasons.

Radcliffe generously said he suspects the young actor playing Potter, Dominic McLaughlin, would be far better in the iconic lead role than he was.

“I’m sure Dominic is going to be better than me,” Radcliffe said. “I learned as I went. I look back on what I did now with a lot more kindness, and I find it less embarrassing now that I’m older. But I was very much learning how to do it for a long time on Potter.”

The adorable reason sea otters hold hands while they sleep

The adorable reason sea otters hold hands while they sleep

Sea otters hold hands while they sleep to avoid drifting apart. When resting on their backs, even gentle ocean currents can separate them. Grabbing a buddy turns drifting otters into a floating group nap that stays together.

This behavior is important for mothers and pups. Baby otters are poor swimmers and tend to wander. Holding on keeps pups close and safe, sparing everyone the stress of waking up alone in open water.

This is one of the cutest animal-survival skills I’ve ever seen. I’d like to think the otters in this video are best friends who nap this way daily. I hope they never drift apart.

Federal court rules that OpenAI must stop using the term ’Cameo’

Federal court rules that OpenAI must stop using the term ’Cameo’

Cameo, the platform where celebrities sell short, personalized videos, has scored a preliminary win in a trademark lawsuit against OpenAI. A California judge has ruled that the AI company’s video generation tool Sora cannot use the term ’cameo’ or any variation likely to cause confusion. A temporary restraining order in the case was originally granted in November of last year.

The suit was first brought in response to a feature available within the Sora app at launch called ’Cameo’ that allowed users to add any likeness to videos they generated. Cameo claimed the use of the term in this setting was likely to cause confusion and could dilute their brand. OpenAI then carried on with the feature despite the suit.

Kate Mara’s Secrets Will Kill Her in Apple TV’s ‘Imperfect Women’ Trailer

“Imperfect” doesn’t even begin to describe the friendship between Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss and Kate Mara in Apple TV’s Imperfect Women.

On Wednesday, Apple released the trailer (below) for Imperfect Women, a series adaptation of Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name. Annie Weisman (Physical, Based on a True Story) did the adapting and the showrunning.

Imperfect Women “examines a crime that shatters the lives of a decades-long friendship of three women,” per Apple. “The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that alter our lives irrevocably. As the investigation unravels, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.”

Berkshire Hathaway reduces Apple stake as Warren Buffett officially retires

In new SEC disclosures filed this week, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway revealed that it has once again trimmed its stake in Apple. At the same time, the firm disclosed a new $350 million investment in the New York Times.

The transactions were made in the final quarter of 2025, which also marked the end of Buffett’s leadership at Berkshire. Buffett, 95, announced his retirement last year. As of January 1, Greg Abel has assumed the role as Berkshire’s CEO.

“There’s never been someone like Warren, and countless people, myself included, have been inspired by his wisdom,” Tim Cook wrote when Buffett announced his plans to retire. “It’s been one of the great privileges of my life to know him. And there’s no question that Warren is leaving Berkshire in great hands with Greg.”
