Apple today shared an ad that shows how the upgraded Center Stage front camera on the latest iPhones improves the process of taking a group selfie. ”Watch how the new front facing camera on iPhone 17 Pro takes group selfies that automatically expand and rotate as more people come into frame,” says Apple. While the ad is focused on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, the regular iPhone 17 and the iPhone Air have the same Center Stage front camera with this functionality.

According to a new study from researchers at Chapman University and Carnegie Mellon, the answer is both. Analyzing the 2015 takedown of Brazil’s iconic MegafilmesHD portal, researchers found that the choice to go pirate or go legal largely depends on their gender and financial means.
In 2013, Jeffrey Epstein couldn’t erase his conviction as a sex offender. But he could make it harder to find on Google, using various search engine optimization tactics, along with his personal connections within the news media.
So Epstein, newly released emails show, hired a small team that set its sights on cleaning up his image with a number of digital publications, including Business Insider.

Question Is long-term intake of caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee associated with risk of dementia and cognitive outcomes?
Findings In this prospective cohort study of 131 821 individuals from 2 cohorts with up to 43 years of follow-up, 11 033 dementia cases were documented. Higher caffeinated coffee intake was significantly associated with lower risk of dementia. Decaffeinated coffee intake was not significantly associated with dementia risk.
Meaning Higher caffeinated coffee intake was associated with more favorable cognitive outcomes.
The changes follow earlier deployments in a small number of countries and will apply to both new and existing accounts.
Under the updated model, accounts are placed into a teen-oriented experience unless the user confirms they are 18 or older. The change affects access to age-restricted spaces, content visibility, and certain communication features. The approach standardizes protections for younger users across all regions where the service operates.
Accounts using teen defaults will have tighter limits on direct communication. Messages from people outside a user’s friends list will be routed to a separate request inbox. Friend requests from unknown users will trigger warning prompts before a connection is accepted.
